Getting started

What WBAMS is, in one page WBAMS (Web Billing & Accounting Management System) runs the business side of an organization from one installation on your own server: billing, clients, support, the public website, members and staff, and giving.

Your first day: set WBAMS up in the right order The order matters: identity before invoices, automation before recurring billing, a tested gateway before the first customer.

Shape your workspace: industry, people, modules and website sections Step three of the installer asks about your organization, not your server. Your answers decide which tables are created and what content is written, and every answer can be changed later.

Find your way around the control panel The control panel lives at /control. Its menus follow the parts you installed, and a page your role may not open is absent rather than greyed out.
