Set up the scheduler (cron) Nothing recurring happens without the scheduler: no invoices, no reminders, no suspensions, no imported ticket replies. It is one cron job every five minutes.
How invoices are created Invoices come from four places: orders, recurring services falling due, an administrator, and the API. Each carries the client, currency, tax, lines, balance, status and payment method.
Escalation rules for tickets left too long An escalation acts on a ticket that has waited too long: it changes the priority, moves the department, assigns somebody or sends a notification.
What the scheduler does every day The scheduler runs the time-based work. A healthy website does not prove a healthy scheduler; the dashboard's Last Automation Run does.
