System requirements WBAMS runs on an ordinary Linux hosting account: PHP 8.3 or newer with the free ionCube Loader, a MySQL or MariaDB database, Apache or Nginx with HTTPS, and a cron job.
Can I install WBAMS on shared hosting or cPanel? Yes. A Linux hosting account with PHP 8.3 or newer and the free ionCube Loader, a MySQL or MariaDB database, HTTPS and cron is all WBAMS needs, and the installer and cron instructions are written for cPanel.
Does WBAMS work with Nginx? Yes. WBAMS runs on Apache or Nginx. The protective rules it ships are an Apache .htaccess, so on Nginx you write the equivalent refusals in your server configuration.
